Maybe you’ve shared a big goal with someone—perhaps even the Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG) you created—and their response was something like:

“There you go again… dreaming too big. That’ll never happen.”

Don’t let those comments discourage you.

Every great accomplishment begins with a bold vision. Dreaming big isn’t the problem. In fact, it’s the first step toward achieving something extraordinary.

The real difference between a dreamer and an achiever isn’t the size of the dream—it’s the commitment.

Achievers make an internal decision to do whatever it takes. They take consistent action, persevere through setbacks, and refuse to let obstacles define their future.

Unfortunately, most people never stop to honestly evaluate whether they have the mindset, determination, discipline, and persistence required to turn a dream into reality. That’s one of the biggest reasons so few people ever accomplish truly extraordinary goals.

If you have a big goal you’d like to achieve but aren’t sure whether you’re fully prepared for the journey, I’d like to help.
