Sometimes there comes a moment when you have an epiphany.  That moment where a series of thoughts come together after hearing something that someone says that connects several dots in your mind that have been there waiting for the right moment.

I was speaking with someone today and they said something that did just that for me.  They said “It just comes down to a decision.”  When I heard that, I had to apply it to my life as a sales professional.  When it comes to prospecting everyday “It just comes down to a decision.”

Now the big question:   Why would we make the decision to put that off when we know that is where the money is made?  I believe the answer is because we do not really know our “Why.”  Why do we want what we want?  Why do we want to make 3-4 sales this month?  What are you going to do with the money?  If this email moves you then please look at your goals. Ask yourself “Why do I want this?” When you know the answer to that question then “It just comes down to a Decision.”  And if you decide to put off for tomorrow what you can do today, then it means you really didn’t have the right “Why.”  Find the “Why” and you’re on the way.
